Rope Co. owners Logan and Hannah Rackliff grew up cloaked in lobstermen traditions—from boat building to sea faring. From generations of fishermen and rope makers, a new tradition was born, taking a practical material and turning it into something special. Logan and Hannah began making rope mats in the winter of 2013. Since then, the company catalog has expanded to feature products designed by Hannah and inspired by the Downeast and coastal Maine culture Logan and Hannah’s families have been enveloped in for years.

The Rope Co. doormats and baskets are woven from commercial-fishing-grade rope. The hardworking materials in naturally-inspired tones make bring distinct character and style to your favorite spaces, leaving an imprint of place in your every day. Each product is carefully hand made in Maine, by true hard working Mainers, and tells a tale of coastal life, innovation, and history.
