Lotta Jansdotter has been creating iconic Scandinavian print patterns and motifs since 1996 when she introduced her simple, organic, hand screened fabric accessories to the home market. Her designs adorn everything from fabric, rugs, bedding, and dishes to luggage and paper goods. She works from her studio in Maker's Village in East Orange hand drawing and painting her unique designs that are produced in collaboration with artisans in India and NY.
Lotta hosts hands-on printmaking workshops and creative retreats meeting makers across the globe, an exchange which influences her style and outlook. She is the author of twelve lifestyle, travel and sewing books and has collaborated with many stores, furniture designers, museums and makers.
Her creations have appeared in many publications including Elle Decor, NY Times, Real Simple, Domino, O Magazine and have been exhibited worldwide at galleries and shops including MOMA, Herman Miller, Barneys, Spiral Market and Svenskt Tenn.
