A native to New Jersey and graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, Gary Bodker creates hand blown glass objects and accessories from traditional glass blowing techniques. His pieces are influenced by mid-century modern designs but also pay homage to the Japanese philosophy of Wabi Sabi. No two pieces are alike. He creates functional pieces with fluid clean lines and translucent colors that clearly embrace the art of glass blowing but at the same time are elegant, sophisticated and timelessly modern.
