Carrière Frères

Following in the tradition of master wax makers Trudon, Carrère Frères was founded in 1884 by the scholarly and entrepreneurial Carrère brothers. Well versed in 18th century wax craftsmanship and passionate about historical savoir-faire, they were eager to modernize their candle-making process and were award a gold medal at the Exposition Universelle in 1889. Carrère Frères is known for its botanical heritage and unique wax formula allowing for a slow and even burn. The sustainable and innovative collection is divided into four lines of florals, fruits herbs and woods.
